Before I came to Pratt, my undergraduate major was in computer software. It was kind of boring for me and I transferred my major to animation one year ago.
As for me, why I like animation so much is that, not like film, there is nothing impossible in animation. I prefer making animations that are full of imagination and creating stories that will never happen in our reality. I like using simple strokes to design characters and scenes, and then connecting them to display very playful animations.
In addition, I'm always trying to combine different method together to create different kinds of animation, like I used both 2D and stop motion in my work In and Out. I'm interesting to see what will happen after using complex methods.
What I have already created all show my imagination and creativity in my mind. Beside of loving animation, I also enjoy making audience laugh and think more after watching my animations. In a word, I will never stop in my field.
