Director Biography - Iván Ávila Dueñas

Zacatecas, 1965. Ivan Avila’s first film, "Adan & Eve (still)", was Official Selection at Mar del Plata and La Habana, Best First Film at Guadalajara and was nominated to 7 Mexican Academy Awards. "The Enlightened Blood" was the opening film at San Sebastian and was awarded at Biarritz and Tremblant. “The Romantic Barber” is his sixth feature film.
