Director Biography - Marieta Petchanska

Marieta Petchanska is a Bulgarian filmmaker based in Barcelona. She has graduated Audiovisual Communications in Madrid at the Complutense University. Marieta has directed several shorts selected in multiple international festivals and is especially well known for the music videos she has directed that gained big popularity on youtube. She has also worked for Playground Magazine and аs a creative director at the company of the Spanish Grammy award singer Mala Rodríguez.

Director Statement

Reflections Full of Life is another search for the extraordinary. In all my films and works I am trying to find a different look, to make a deeper dig. That is why I never know what It will be in the end, because filmmaking for me is searching for the ultimate form of expression. In my mind I see pictures and word and hear sounds and it all seems to be like indistinct chatter but once I start writing and filming all the elements come to their place and form unique pictures.
