Daniel is a writer, director and occasional actor. Daniel attended college at Southern Illinois University where he studied Film and Television Production and minored in Theater. A native of L.A. for 19 years, Daniel has had many many jobs in the entertainment industry... most of them not worth mentioning.
Daniel has over 15 years of experience inside the world of Hollywood. Daniel has sold screenplays to various studios and production companies including New Line Cinema, Sony Studios and Radar Pictures. A writer since his youth, Daniel started writing screenplays with his brother Jim in the early 2000's and to date has 8 completed properties.
In 2009, Dan and Jim sold a comedy, Fraternity Ward, to New Line Cinema and are still waiting for it to be produced...don't hold your breath. Not to be deterred, the brothers continue to write comedy and dramatic screenplays and produce their own material. Daniel has directed several shorts and wrote and produced the pilot, L.A.P.E., Life in the Red Zone. A satirical look at Los Angeles Parking Enforcement.
Daniel is also the Co-Creator and Director of the comedy series, Striker and Swat. Working with some of L.A. finest improv actors, this fast and loose comedy documents the daily lives of two buddies who are always at the center of the controversy du jour.
In early 2016, Daniel and his brother, Jim, teamed up with Mitchell LeMasters to produce the episodic television police drama, Blue Cash Big Easy. The story of two New Orleans cops on very divergent paths. Daniel directed and co-wrote the script with his brother Jim. Mitchell served as Executive Producer.
