Director Biography - Can Yalman

Can Yalman is an amateur filmmaker who was born in 2000 in İstanbul. His interest towards films has started in his high school life and he has been putting work as an actor, a writer, a director, and an editor in the domains of film and theatre for 3 years at Uskudar American Academy where he currently is a 12th-grade student in. He is considering basing his career on film production, about which he is also planning to work on at university. Up to the present, he has been recognized and awarded from national and international short film contests and festivals for his two short films ''The Wooden Court''(2017) which he directed and ''On Life's Shore''(2018) which he wrote, directed, and edited.
