Away from Gablur - landing//01

In Gablur, they were called Hybrids. They were the descendents of the beings that inhabited the third planet of a solar system in Galaxy 51, 723 megaparsecs away. They were totally identical to the natives of Gablur; the only thing different was their brief lifespan. The previous generations of Hybrids had long debated whether to attempt exploration towards their planet of origin: was it worth it to risk voyaging over so great a distance, at the mercy of intergalactic currents, in order to make landfall on what would probably be an uninhabited planet? But the youths had begun to think of themselves in a different way. They would investigate the roots of their own identity in order to reshape it, even at the expense of starting over from scratch and building Gablur anew on that planet that had the same, blue colour.
