Play or The Girl of Music

Carlo Cavazzuti is a writer, director of photography and editor.
He was born in Mirandola in March 1983. Since the age of six he has been studying and practicing fencing, now as a master at national and international level, collaborating with writers and directors for technical consultancy for their works. After studying industrial chemistry and biology, he moves to Messina to study biology and marine ecology. Here begins his photographic adventure with Professor Costa, specialized in photography of abysmal marine animals, and during the summers with Gianni Greco, photographer and video operator, his reference points as photo teachers. During his university years he worked as a researcher and photographer for nature reportage, mainly underwater, published by various magazines in the field, receiving memoirs and prizes at national and international level. During all this time, since 1997, he has dedicated himself to theatrical work in technical roles as light designers as an actor, playwright and director in various companies, but principally under Milena Nicolini, poet and director, Ivan Andreoli, director and documentary, Pierluigi Cassano, director and playwright, and in all the companies in the Arcoscenico group, founded the UNF company Who in the years of his activity received positive criticism throughout the Italian territory. Finally, he enrolled at the National Academy of Cinema, where, with leading teachers, Mauro Marchetti, director of photography and world-renowned artist, graduated in 2014 as director of photography and editor. In 2016, he earned the master degree in "Film, web and TV author" as well as in "The Art of Pitching", the latter featuring the leading international producer Donald Martin. Since 2012 he has worked steadily as a video operator, director of photography with several national and foreign directors, among which he recalls with affection Amerigo P. Neri, Christian Gozzi, Mirco Di Gregorio and Gilles Sandoz.
