WALSH AMONG ALL

" The plot of squares functions as memory. We have clear memories faded memories and some no memories ." With this simple statement the artist Jorge Gonzalez Perrin explains the technique developed by the ArteMemoria collective. The film is a journey toward finding producers bodies of memory and celebrates the energy of a society in its present , generates aesthetic actions they propose a "No to oblivion " . Memory is working , memory is time and memory is body. Walsh among all interrogates the art, their senses and their functions and intends to consider what today means keep thinking about the past actively.

Director Biography - Carmen Guarini

Filmmaker and Anthropologist. Doctor in Anthropological Cinema (Univ.Paris X France). He studied with Jean Rouch, Fernando Birri, Jorge Prelorán and Jean-Louis Comolli. CONICET researcher. Teaching: University of Buenos Aires, Master's Degree in Documentary Film from the Universidad del Cine-FUC, Univ.de Avellaneda-UNDAV, EICTV, Cuba, among others. In 1986, together with Marcelo Céspedes, he founded CINE OJO, a pioneer producer in Argentina in documentary film. From 2001 to 2016, he founded and coordinated the Forum DocBuenosAires project laboratory. To date, he continues with the direction of the DocBuenosAires International Documentary Film Festival. Among his films, awarded nationally and internationally, the following stand out: Hospital Borda, a call to reason (1986); The eternal night (1990); The voice of the handkerchiefs (1992), Jaime de Nevares, last trip (1995); Red Ink (1998); CHILDREN, the soul in two (2002); Meykinof (2005), Gorri (2010), Memory Streets (2013), Walsh among all (2015), Tie your plow to a star (2018).
