'Labourers' is a short film by Anindya Chatterjee. This film is entirely shot in iPhone 6. The workers in different sectors across the globe are trapped in a vicious circle of slavery. They are being driven by an invisible string. Who is the omnipotent? Who is the driving force? 'Labourers' tries to find the answer in an experimental way.

Anindya Chatterjee is an independent filmmaker. He has directed a Bengali feature film JHUMURA which was released on 24 April, 2015. It was screened in the Bengali Panorama section of Kolkata International Film Festival, 2014. In 2015, he has made a documentary EXTREMISM DENIED on Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris. He is presently working on a multilingual film HOMELAND- LA PATRIE. It is shot in France. He has made telefilms for Tara TV, Sony channels too. 'Labourers' is a short film shot by Anindya in iPhone.
As a filmmaker, I always try to experiment with the form of audio-visual, be it short film, feature film or documentary. Hence the idea of 'Labourers' came. I have tried to cater a universal message through my film.
