Snowflakes Music Video

I am a bullying survivor and I battled anorexia for two years. More importantly, I live with anxiety and have struggled with it since I was a kid. I thought I've seen the worst of my anxiety attacks two years ago until this April, when I experienced the most crucial moment in my life when I was at my lowest. Anxiety hit me so hard that for a while, it took so much strength from within me to fight the battle, find out which mattered most in my life and focus on priorities. The bottomline: I wanted to get better and the biggest weapon I had was facing my fears. The great news? I am here. Once again, I survived my biggest battle and what makes me strong is not only the love I receive from my family and friends, but the fact that I am never alone. I created this music video hoping that I can touch the lives of others and inspire them to stay strong and be open about themselves, and most of all know that they are not alone and that help is always there. It is easier said than done, but when things are going so bad, we can try to find that one small glimmer of hope inside us and hold on to it because that is the fire that will bring us back. We deserve to get back.
Amanda Todd inspired the message of this song. She is a snowflake, just as we all are: unique, beautiful and strong! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
Thank you for the opportunity to share my story through my work. This is my very first directorial job and with the help of everyone who participated in this project, I hope to spread mental health awareness and share the message of hope and healing.
