The Case (System Failure)

A journey within ourselves to meet other living beings and their communicative arts. They are made of waves, pure vibrations of light and sound; colours perceived as pitches, chaotic yet in harmony. These threadlike, inorganic beings express their science as a "pitch suprematism" comprising sounds transitioning from cold to colourfully intense specters. The aim is to learn a new semantic through electronic vibrations, a new Poetry of the Impossible meant to experience an unprecedented way to interpret life and music.

Director Biography - Fabio Costantino, Alex Conti

Fabio Costantino

A multi-instrumentalist and music producer ailing from Sicily, Fabio has spent half of his artistic life traveling around Europe. During this time, he has released several works through independent and major labels, managing to gather a solid consensus internationally.
Around the end of the ‘90s, Fabio finds himself in the controversial field of ghost writing, which will keep him busy for two decades.
Author of different projects ranging from pop to avant-garde music, in 2016 he releases “Morning Haze” under Viceversa Records, a psychedelic-pop single that is promptly acclaimed by critics and audience alike.
Fabio is currently on tour with Spirituality, a project born from Juri Camiscasa and Rosario Di Bella, and produced by Franco Battiato. With Spirituality, he is having the chance to play many uncommon instruments, such as the EWI, the lute and the sitar.
Besides Spirituality, Fabio is touring with Defencewalls, together with guitarist Alex Conti. He considers Defencewalls to be the latest frontier of his journey in the world of sounds.

Alex Conti

Alex Conti has studied jazz guitar and modal harmonic improvisation for many years, with the guidance of teachers first, and on his own afterwards. Graduated in Philosophy and Art, he focused particularly on History and Aesthetics of Music; he has also attended various workshops and masterclasses on jazz, pop and electronic music.
With more than 30 years of experience under his belt, Alex can boast hundreds of concerts around Europe.
