Director Biography - Aisha Casey

Born and raised in New York, Aisha began her “true career” later in life.
Starting out in musical theater Aisha was a cast member in local productions in Maryland and DC.
Moving back to New York brought Aisha through the gates of network television production in NYC. Starting out as a day player, Aisha was more intrigued with what was going on behind the scenes and she soon began to follow her passions.
Training on set rather than at film school, Aisha worked on several NYU Thesis films and several Indie shorts, then at a local cable –access studio she began training in producing and directing in studio. Aisha then formed her own production company, Eyes That Can See Entertainment.
She has successfully created and produced 3 half-hour variety programs of her own which aired on BRIC Networks, she produced and directed season one of the web series, Al Most Coast to Coast, which is currently up for viewing at Starable.com and Youtube. With the completion of her first film, a short thriller, Dearie, Aisha hopes to further her career through festival success. She continues to work on writing and developing content to submit to networks and other platforms.

Finding Alexandra Sanchez was only a connection brought by pure fate. When we met and she allowed me to help bring her project to life I was more than honored I was determined to get it done and make her proud. She is a fine performer and I hope to continue seeing her shine.
