Sarah Dempsey is a filmmaker from Dublin, Ireland. During her degree at the University of Wolverhampton she wrote, produced and directed her first film titled "Hand in Hand" a short documentary about the lives of LGBT couples in Ireland. The film done incredibly well on the film festival circuit. It screened at the Indie Cork Film Festival, Schull Film Festival,Clones Film Festival and The Dublin International short film and music festival. It also played in Boston two years running, first at the Wicked Queer Boston LGBT Film Festival in 2016 and then the Irish Film Festival Boston in 2017, screening with A Date for Mad Mary & The Young Offenders.
