KAMPALA HAS FALLEN
SYNOPSIS
The Movie is about Article 17 Section 2 of the constitution
of the Republic of Uganda which states that;
“It is the duty of all able-bodied citizens to undergo
Military training for the defense of this Constitution and
the protection of the territorial integrity of Uganda
whenever called upon to do so; and the State shall ensure
that facilities are available for such training”.
After the 1980 general elections which were very contested
by the opposition parties ended badly one of the opposition
leaders Mr. Kasagazi decided to join the rebel
groups and led a guerrilla war to liberate his country from
tyranny.
But this man managed to turn his country around after it was
almost completely destroyed by two of the worst dictators
the world has seen namely Idi and Milton. And for
a person who had been to Uganda about a decade ago you would
be amazed at the changes this man had made. Most of us can
count on one hand the number of famous African leaders, who
do well, but everybody hears about the bad ones and they
remember them. We need to hear from the good ones now. This
is a story about a man who changed a country from one of the
most dangerous places in the world to one of the safest.
