Director Statement

This short is very close to my heart. My father, Kermit White, passed away in March of last year due to cancer. While he was sick, I often wondered why certain diseases afflicted certain people, and how life seems unfair in who suffers before they go and who doesn't. I began to channel this frustration into my writing and "Mortem" is what came about. It's helped me a little in processing my father's passing and I hope it can do the same for others.
