Director Biography - Kent Flaagan

Kent Flaagan, is an International award winning filmmaker from Kansas City, Missouri, USA.
He's written, produced, and directed three of his own short films and one feature.
His films and writing have been selected to over 73 festivals and counting.
One of his films "Ten Thousand Camels" has won International acclaim being selected to over 37 film festivals. The film was selected and shown at The Vienna Film Festival's; Focus program for International Human Rights, The Red Carpet Human Rights Film Festival - West Bank, Palestine and winning numerous Muslim Social Justice Awards.
His second short film "The Broom" won Best Black Culture film at the 2021 Cannes World film Festival and many other Black Culture Awards.
Kent has quietly become one of the most influential filmmakers on the independent market.
