The movie contains 3 parts. There are a couple of secrets in part 1, but it turns out to be fiction. Part 2 is like shatters of mysterious poems. Part 3 seems to explain what part 2 is about. Reality vs. illusion could to be one of the themes of "Secrets of the Lakes". In the movie, fiction, mirror and dream symbolize illusion. In the end the director does not tell the audience what reality is. After all, secret means not to tell anyone. Lonely is the one who takes secrets to the grave.
