Amateur Dicks: Episodes 2 & 3
We're not porn. We promise. Although you may not want to google us at work. Amateur Dicks chronicles the hard-boiled, half-baked adventures of four slacker roommates from New York who decide to become private detectives after watching an episode of Magnum P.I. Full disclosure, they may have been slightly stoned.

I grew up a latch-key kid in the eighties, so, my primary care-takers, role-models and spiritual guides were television icons like Magnum P.I., The A-Team and MacGyver. They were brilliant, adventure seeking, charismatic heroes that filled my imagination with dreams of solving crimes and taking down “bad guys.” At the same time, I became obsessed with the comedy of Saturday Night Live, Kids in the Hall and SCTV. Like many un-athletic nerds, I quickly realized that becoming a sports car driving, crime-fighter that could pull off a moustache AND short-shorts, was probably not in my future. Comedy seemed a much more attainable goal. So, when my group of friends and artistic collaborators began to brain-storm ideas for a web series, the idea to merge our mutual love of comedy and the eighties TV shows that we grew up on seemed like the perfect premise. Thus, the Amateur Dicks were born.
