Director Biography - Dimitra Mitsaki

Dimitra Mitsaki is a visual artist, also known as Fish Lily. Dimitra was born in 1986 in Thessaloniki and currently lives and works in Athens. She studied Filmmaking in Berlin's filmArche, the first and biggest self-organised filmschool in Europe. She lived and worked in Berlin from 2010 to 2016. She has directed & edited several short films of different genres - from experimental to documentaries- and she writes and directs theatre plays & performances. Her work focuses mostly on sociopolitical aspects. Dimitra has collaborated with international performance artists as a documentarist & video artist.
