Negar's Role
Farzad is going to marry Negar who is an orphan. In order to prevent his family's disagreement, Farzad helped by the orphanage, sends Negar to live with a family who will act as her actual family on the proposal night. However, complications arise before the awaited night both in the new family and in the couple's relationship.

•Ali Atshani was born in 1978 in Isfahan
•His first cinematic attempt was during his high school years by making short movie “Namaye Entezar” , was chosen for the annual 100 second movie festival.
• By the time he entered to the university to study computer engineering he had completed a few short movies and documentary.
•During his study at university he founded a youth Cinema society to critic and discussion about Iranian and foreigner counties movie’s .Ashtani continued his cinematic activities during his college years and produced a few more short movies.
• after graduating from university in 1999 as computer engineering he shifted to the Tehran to continue his art career in a professional level.
•In 2002 Ashtani directed a documentary movie, named “Na tamam”(unfinished) based on Iran religious rituals. Asimportance of this subject in the Iranian society, it was banned by the government and never screened in Iran.
• But the widespread reception among the international community gradually helped in establishing Atshani’s reputation as a young talent. After the screening of “Natamam” in countries such as U.S.A., England, Estonia, this documentary won the silver Remi award of the 2003 Houston Movie Festival.
•In 2004 and 2006 Atshani made two movies titled “Forgotten Positives” and “One step from God” . This movie was screened in countries such as U.S.A, Germany, Uruguay, Egypt, Japan, Hungry, and Italy. movie got most positive reviews from movie critics, at 2005 Atshani won the Bronze Remi award of Houston Movie Festival. These last two movies faced no legal ban in Iran and were successfully screened and distributed by the national television.
•In 2007 Ali Atshani directed another movie “Banana Skin”. This movie is considered his first professional project which featured professional cast and crew . This controversial movie focused on spiritual concepts related to posthumous life. His movie received mixed reviews and faced legal bans in Iran. This movie was eventually screened in countries such as U.S.A, Spain, Hong Kong, and Mexico and received positive reviews.
•From 2007 to 2009 Atshani received various awards in the domestic film festivals. In 2009 he directed “Democracy in daylight” with an outstanding team of Iranian superstars. The movie benefited from surrealistic concepts and considered an avant-garde work in the Iranian cinema. This movie is about one of military generals in the Iran-Iraq war who fixed in the governmental positions. This controversial subject, once again, provoked harsh reactions by clergy in Iran and Atshani was almost arrested. This movie set the record for the highest payroll for an Iranian actor at $100,000 for only three minutes of screen time. This movie was among the bestselling movies in 2010 and helped Atshani gain a reputation as an accomplished independent moviemaker.
•Another work in 2010 was “Six men under the rain”. This movie was based on the outcomes of 2009 presidential elections in Iran and the related political events. This movie also faced harsh reactions by the government and h got a heavy censorship before screening in 2011.
•Later on at 2011Atshani made “The president’s cellphone ” which was critical towards the Iranian president in those days. The closer circle to the Iranian president did not appreciate this movie and the movie was declared illegal, directly by the president. However, towards the end of the previous president’s term, this movie was screened and received positive reviews.

•Another milestone Of Atshani was making the first 3D movie in the Iranian cinema history titled “Mr. Alef”. This movie did not attract the expected attention in Iran, mostly due to controversies around his previous works. But in the international community, this movie was recognized as an technological and artistic breakthrough for the Iranian and the Middle East cinema industry. This movie had limited screening in Iran, partly as a result of technical deficiencies in the movie theatres. This movie was among the recipients of 2012 Film Festival awards.
•In 2013 Atshani directed his fifth movie titled “Negara’s Role “This movie was considered different style in atshani history. This movie drew special attention because of one pre-revolution Iranian movie stars ,Naser Malek Motiyi, was among the cast of this movie. This movie also faced a two year ban in Iran until it was eventually screened in 2015.
•In 2015 Atshani directed his sixth movie in Iran /Germany (Paradise). Critics appreciated the movie. Abstract of this movie is a bout young clergy who falls in love with a young German woman through the Facebook and challenged radical Islamic beliefs in the society. Paradise won a best director, best actor, male, and best actor supporting role male award by Chelsea film festival NY /US.
•In 2016 he directed his last movie WISHBONE, Which is not screening yet.
