Director Biography - Tess Leigh

Tess is fifteen-years-old and is homeschooled along with her younger sister. Since she was very young, she has always enjoyed making videos and making up stories. When she was about eleven, she made her first film with the help of her Dad - a story about a girl who ran away from home. Since then, she has written many scripts and stories. ‘Towards A Sun' is her first Music Video.

Director Statement

My latest film, Towards A Sun, is one of my favourite pieces I have done so far. I found a song that I loved and went from there, trying to come up with a story to fit. The end result was a story that ended up being very close to my heart; a story of a father and daughter. It was my first time directing a music video, so I learned a lot about emotion through visuals. Thanks to all the team who made it all come together!
