FLY ON THE WALL started out as an experiment on how to tell a suspense story using only the video devices available at the time, as if the whole feature length story was captured accidentally like a documentary then assembled later. (It was shot on more than 5 different types of mobile cameras: Polaroid Cube Cam, iPhones 5 & 6, 2 drones, JVC HD-100, Canon Powershot). After more than a year in post-production of inventing a visual language and along with intricate sound design, the film has found its "voice" in a new stab at indie guerrilla filmmaking. With that in mind, the themes of this story are about the dangers of voyeurism. Everywhere we go and everything we do seems vulnerable to privacy concerns. The tendency for the hero and the killer to share similar traits (to "capture" an object of obsession) is the question raised in our story.
