Director Statement

Driver is a film about redemption and second chances. Many fathers in the African-American community are often times overlooked and their stories go unheard. Because Yucef is an advocate of the Newark community, he will soon be creating many films as Rutgers and Express Newark Resident; he will be telling stories that tell a different narrative about a community that is underrepresented in film and media.
