Grace Ruby won the 2016 Young Image Makers (Senior) and Cayman Through My Eyes Film Competition, her first film award submissions. She was born on November 12,1998 in Virginia,U.S.A., but moved to the Cayman Islands at age 10 in 2011. She has been working in the film industry as an intern at Sands Creative Ltd. since May 2016. She hopes to become a successful filmmaker after graduating film school in the future.
Nikki's Voice comes from the heart, with the subject being friends and family who are very close to me. The story is well-known in the sporting community in the Cayman Islands and hopefully this will spread their message, awareness of cerebral palsy and pushing the limits, to more people.
