Director Biography - Dev Ganesh Kadam

I'm Dev Ganesh Kadam, an 18-year-old student currently in my first year pursuing a B.A. in Filmmaking at Dada Saheb Phalke International Film School affilated to MIT World Peace University located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
My journey in filmmaking began in 10th grade with "Memories'', a film featuring my friends, which is now available on YouTube. Despite a brief hiatus during my science stream education, I resumed filmmaking immediately after my 12th exams. In my first week at Dada Saheb Phalke International Film School, I wrote the screenplay and completed "12th Pass' ', a short film entirely self-made using minimum budget, including shooting it with my dad’s iPhone 11 Pro and Zhiyun gimbal. The story resonated with me due to my personal experiences with the struggles students face.
A cinephile at heart, I often share my insights through film reviews. Additionally, I have a strong penchant for screenwriting, having authored seven screenplays, four of which I've personally directed.
At Film School, I contributed as the writer and cinematographer for the short film "Majha Morya", and as the writer and director for another short film titled "Call Out". I'm determined to continue creating short films in the future and hope you enjoy watching my work.
