Director Biography - Craig Ford

Film-maker, Producer. Craig has had great success with his films The Real Badlands (aired on TV in 2009) and DARK FILM (hit the 2010 festival circuit). He is currently producing and directing his first feature film, Once Upon a Time in the Wild which is due for release 2015.

Craig has also produced and directed 10 episodes for series 3 of the soap opera Persona.

Craig’s latest short, I Wouldn’t Wish the Eighties on Anyone! (2014) has been picked up by the US cable channel ShortsHD and is currently doing the festival circuit.

2013 also saw Craig produce his first theatre production, Forever 27, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival; receiving 4 star reviews.

Craig is the co-founder of Queer as Film a queer film festival which has taken Soho, London by storm. Queer as Film has now begun producing its own films including, I Want my Pants Back and Craig’s own short I Wouldn’t Wish the Eighties on Anyone!
