Writer Biography - Alexander Arnold

Alexander Arnold is a British actor, writer & director from Ashford, Kent.

He had his first breakout acting role at the age of 17 in E4's BAFTA winning series ‘Skins’ playing metalhead Rich Harbeck and later refined his skills as a writer, having being accepted on The Royal Court Young Writer's Programme.

Since then, Alex has worked with some of the most prolific names in the film & theatre including Danny Boyle, David Mackenzie, Ricky Gervais and David Mamet.

Recently, Arnold took on a leading role in the mumblecore micro budget feature ‘The Entertainer’ about a struggling London musician who loses the keys to his flat. The film went on to win Best Film at the BIFA qualifying Brighton Rock’s International Film Festival.

Arnold's short ‘11+’ will mark his first narrative debut short as a writer/director.
