Director Biography - Robie Truong

After several years living and working in Autralia, Robie Truong came back to Vietnam in 1996. Since then he established the media and advertising agency which is growing fast untill today. Robie Truong has more than 20 years experience as an Event Director and Show Director for lots of big events in Vietnam.

He officially entered Vietnamese film industry as a co-producer for some movies such as Lua Phat (2013), Bui Doi Cho Lon (2013), Bao Gio Co Yeu Nhau (2016)

In 2018, Robie Truong has marked his career in role as a director of the movie “11 Hopes”, in which he also was known as a producer and original story writer.

It took him over 10 years to follow up and collect highlights of Vietnamese Football for developing the script and more than 3 years for making “11 Hopes”. Director Robie Truong express the great love for Vietnamese football. 11 Hopes is an epic story about Vietnamese national spirit which is integrated in a football movie. It’s also the spiritual presents from Director Robie Truong and the film crew to the fans who always keep their hearts and supports for the strong growth of Vietnamese football.
