Born and raised in Milan, filmmaker Federico Fenucci graduated from the University of Milan having pursued a degree in Philosophy with a dissertation focused on violence.
After studying music from an early age, Federico worked as a session musician playing guitar and bass guitar in numerous gigs for renowned Italian artists, such as Cristiano Godano of Marlene Kuntz.
Introduced to film in his youth by his creative parents - a photographer and a stylist – he frequently collaborates with X Studio and various photographers realizing and shooting art and fashion videos.
His clients include Roncato, Best Company, Kate Cate, ELLE Serbia, Ciarmoli & Queda, Gabo Guzzo, Marieclaire.
Federico is currently distributing in festival circuit a documentary exploring the condition of women in Mexico (En Camino), and continues to develop and co-write projects with his sister Caterina, who studied Film and Creative Writing in the UK.
My short film, with a very simple structure and narration, follows the creative path of the two designers (Simone Ciarmoli and Miguel Queda) to show the artistic and naturalistic inspirations that led to the creation and completion of this interesting and colossal interior design project, the yacht "Dream".
As you will see, what is really interesting is the use of materials and shapes in the style of Marie Antoinette, revisited in a fundamentally contemporary layout.
