Lifelong friendship is only a phone call away. World famous clown painter Jim Howle has had his share of success. From being listed in the Smithsonian as the most prominent painter of clowns in the world, to touring with The Greatest Show on Earth.

Jim's endearing friednship with Teddy Goodman is hearwarming and poignant. Even with years of tragedy, Teddy still manages a smile and that is in great part thanks to Jim.

Director Biography - Nic Beery

A former Ringling Bros. circus clown, Nic now prefers to be behind the camera. His films have been in over 70 festivals from Cannes to New York City, and have won numerous awards, including a recent Emmy nomination and an Indie Arts award winner for the North Carolina publication, The Independent. Nic’s film Sayonara to Hello won “Best Documentary” at the 2013 Knoxville Film Festival.
