From Lizzie Finn: When I stepped onto the set of 100 Proof Warlock, the first thing I felt was enormous gratitude. For six years, I was completely debilitated by neurological Lyme disease and found myself not only physically incapacitated, but also unable to write or access my creativity. Never in my wildest dreams did I see a future where I could once again write, direct, and produce even short films. It's been a long journey back to health, and regaining my confidence has not been easy. Fortunately, I've been able to find creative collaborators - like my co-director John Leary- who I trust and respect deeply. Making movies isn't just a job for me - it's a passion and fills me with a sense of purpose. While I continue to deal with some ongoing aspects of chronic illness, I forge ahead, driven by a desire to make magic and show others that anything is possible.
