This is a Magic Realism fairytale told to children by two mothers living in two different cities: Barcelona and Mexico City. The story begins with “Cortez the Killer” and tells how his invasion changed evolution on this planet, and created a series of love stories situated in Mexico City and Tulum in the year 2026.

Best Unproduced Screenplay
I have written five published collections of fairytales. I’ve also exhibited paintings, photographs, and installations around the world in museums, galleries and Biennales. Besides many shorts, I have written and directed two feature length “artist films”: Hallucinations/Paradise, 2010 and Mirror of Happiness, 2012. I received a BA in Film /Television at San Francisco State University, and a MFA from the University of New Mexico.
My films celebrate the sensibilities of such writers as Gertrude Stein and the stream of consciousness narratives of James Joyce. My films also continue in the footsteps of the pioneer Luis Buñuel. Recent examples of Magic Realism would include “The Lobster” by Yorgos Lanthimos, as well as the work of Brit Marling.
