Facing realistic pressures from every aspect, the pursuit of money becomes the priority of lots of people, so we only focus on work instead of dreams or the life itself. As time flies, people regret not insisting their dreams and loose motivations for life, feeling empty both mentally and physically becomes an issue. So people start to question themselves: What is the meaning of me living in this world? What is the difference between me and a machine?…

In this short film, we are going to discuss the relationship between an individual's lust and the objective facts, as well as how an individual project her/him self in this world.

Director Biography - Xia LV

Lu Xia, born in Qingdao in 1998, works in an art related field and is an artist in his spare time. His works mainly revolve around installation and videos. He excels at collecting and making use of common materials on creating installation works of his own style. He is also interested in exploring various materials, dedicated to integrating cyberpunk elements into reality, committed to seeking inspiration from both reality and the digital world, reflecting on and understanding of these two worlds.
