Glenda was born in Havana, Cuba, where she began to perform at a very early age. The love of the film medium was a common trait among her closest family members, who instilled in her a deep appreciation for cinema and acting. After migrating to Miami at the age of 12 and falling into a profound depression, watching films while isolating brought her a simultaneous sense of identity and escapism. She graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC. However, her untreated major depression made it difficult for her to function and pursue her dreams. She moved back to Miami, attempting to heal and be close to her mother's love. Nevertheless, it was not until she got proper treatment for major depression that her life started to turn around positively. She has rekindled her passion for art, mainly acting and filmmaking. She hopes to make films that speak to the soul, like those that spoke to her soul in the darkest of times.
