New Arts International Film Festival (NAIFF) is the first of its kind in a New and Unconventional World, a film festival established to harmonize cultural differences for a common goal in making the world fit for human habitation. It serves as a link to connect and embrace diverse cultures around the globe.

The festival is designed to hold in different countries around the world each year, the maiden edition will be held in one of the fastest-growing cities in Africa, Edo, Nigeria at Grace's Event and Entertainment Center, Benin City on the 15th to 17th April 2022.

NAIFF accepts all genres of films from filmmakers across the world. The 3days event will feature Live film screenings, Workshops, Pool parties, Cultural Arts and Performances, Exhibitions, Cocktail & Award night.

"Until You try something New, You can never tell if you can do it". The Change You Desire can only happen if we dare to; thus NAIFF is giving filmmakers the platform to be the change agents via storytelling employing new creative forms and unconventional means.

We are not limited by time and space, thus we have as a way of innovation and creative thinking introduced Cities and Countries Tours per Festival Year. This allows for even Participation and Attendance.

Win up to 1000 dollars financial grants with Awards and Laurels as Winners and Contestants.

The categories for submission are (A) Feature films, (B) Short films and student shorts, (C) Documentary films (D) Animation films (E) Experimental films (F) Poetry

Selection Committee
NAIFF will solely appoint a selection committee to review submitted features, documentaries, animations and short films. The committee will decide on the official selection to enter the categories in the competition.
NAIFF will solely appoint a jury including members of the international film community to decide on winners for each of the four categories in the competition.

Deadlines
Entries must be submitted before December 31st 2021. Any submission and/or material received after the deadline will not be accepted.
Submission of Works in Progress
It is NOT acceptable to submit a working copy of a film. ‘Work-in-progress’ entries are not allowed. NAIFF only accepts the final version of films.
Storage of Submissions
NAIFF retains the right to keep all submissions as well as associated materials for its use. NAIFF reserves the right to transfer submissions to a master hard drive digital library, building a digital reference archive (“NAIFF Permanent Digital Library”). NAIFF will not theatrically screen for commercial purposes any films without the express written consent of the appropriate rights-holder(s).

The Selection Committee will at its own discretion select nominees for each category.
ONLY the selected films will official selection notification emails be sent to by July annually. NAIFF will also advise you of further requirements and next steps in said correspondence.
If a film has NOT been selected, the announcement of the final selection will serve as notice. For the avoidance of doubt, NAIFF shall not comment on the grounds of not selecting a film.
Additional terms
For the avoidance of doubt, once a film is selected, the submitter will not be able to withdraw the entry.
6. ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND UNDERTAKING
Submission and participation in NAIFF imply acceptance of the Regulations.
The submitter hereby represents and warrants that he/she holds all rights in and to the film and Material and that he/she has the authority and capacity to submit the film and Material for NAIFF.
The submitter acknowledges that NAIFF shall not be held liable or responsible in any manner whatsoever for any loss or damage of whatever type or nature incurred as a result of the submission, acceptance and/or screening of the film and/or Material. Furthermore, the submitter undertakes to indemnify and keep NAIFF indemnified against all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, costs, damages or loss arising out of the submission, acceptance and/or screening of the film and/or Material.
The submitter also understands and acknowledges that the NAIFF Submission Information (Form) and the present Regulations form a consolidated and unified document and that therefore the NAIFF Submission Form shall be considered as incorporated herein by reference.

Censorship
No editorial cuts or changes to any film will be made at any time by NAIFF, for any reason or under any circumstances.
Anti-Piracy Precautions
NAIFF undertakes to take all possible anti-piracy precautions. All prints and associated copyrighted materials will be securely stored while on NAIFF premises. Access is limited to IAFF’s nominated staff only and all movement of prints will be strictly monitored. No duplication or loaning is permitted and no prints will ever leave the custody and care of NAIFF or its authorized agents during NAIFF
Festival Management’s Discretion
NAIFF will decide in its discretion on all issues and matters not foreseen by these Regulations. NAIFF further retains the right to permit exceptions to the application of these Regulations at any time in its discretion.
