A unique festival that presents short films and short plays to celebrate and showcase the Latinx community, it's artist, and it's stories. Short films and short plays are seldom seen by the general public, but even more rare is seeing Latinx artists on the big screen or the stage.

All film genres are eligible. DANCE short films are welcome!

Additionally, in our commitment to better serve our Latinx comunidad and familias, we encourage you to submit your short films for CHILDREN AND YOUNG AUDIENCES (Ages 5-12) as well.

Submit your short films and be part of a multidisciplinary experience never seen before!

All official selections are voted on by our audience and are eligible for our Audience Favorite Award. A $100 cash prize will be awarded to the Audience Favorite winner. The winner will be announced on social media the day after the Festival.

To be considered for the festival, films must demonstrate meaningful Latinx representation either through the creative leadership and/or the subject matter.

Eligible entries must include at least one Latinx artist in a key creative role, such as director, screenwriter, producer, or lead actor. In addition, the film should showcase, celebrate, explore, or engage with themes, stories, experiences, or cultures relevant to the Latinx community.

We welcome submissions from all genres, including narrative, documentary, experimental, animation, and hybrid works.

Films may be presented in any language. We welcome works that reflect the linguistic diversity of Latin America and the Latinx diaspora, including Spanish, Portuguese, Indigenous languages, Creoles, English, Spanglish, and multilingual works. English subtitles are required for films containing significant dialogue in a language other than English.

Requirements:
● Short films must have English subtitles for non-English language entries.
● Short films must be between 1-20 minutes in length.
● Entrants may submit up to 2 films.
● Entrants are responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses, royalties, release forms, clearances and permits necessary to present their work. Entrants are responsible for any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, or royalty infringement related to the work.
● There is a $10 fee per submission.
