KIDS - Kids Intercultural Development Society, is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit focus on world culture and child development. We hope to enrich child development with global culture exploration.

We are very excited to meet all filmmakers who are interested in family films. Our mission is to gather people from all over the world and create a community that we share, learn and discover extraordinary intercultural education experience through the art of films.

Year 2026 will be our fifth year for the film festival. We are very grateful for all the participants from over 32 countries and regions for the previous years. We hope to see more people joining us sharing the passion for child development and film industry.

Rules & Terms

English closed captioning and audio description are encouraged but not required. Foreign-language films must have English subtitles.
Film Completion date should be 2025 or 2026

By submitting your film, you will be added to our mailing list in order to notify you of your entry's status as well as news about the festival.

Feature Length Film: A narrative, animated or experimental film 31+ minutes in length.
Short Film: A narrative, animated or experimental film 30 minutes or less in length.
Documentary Feature Film: A documentary film 31+ minutes in length.
Documentary Short Film: A documentary film 30 minutes or less in length.
Family Short Video: 10 minutes or less in length
