Back again, the dance film showcase bringing together local dancers, filmmakers, and supporters. CONCEPT will attract both industry professionals and aspiring artists from the Las Vegas dance community.

The mission of CONCEPT. is to unite our dance community by allowing ourselves to enjoy and share each others artistic visions on the big screen. CONCEPT. hopes to bring awareness to Las Vegas of the amazing content being produced locally in our city. We hope that CONCEPT. sparks inspiration for more artists to flourish and express their craft. We strive to make Las Vegas a staple city where phenomenal dance films are made.

Rules & Terms

RULES AND TERMS

All fictional or non-fictional, dance-based films under 10 minutes will be considered.

When submitting your film, PLEASE INCLUDE CREDITS IN YOUR ENTRY (written out in FilmFreeway) for Director and Choreographer. We want to ensure proper credit is given to the artists involved in your project.

A dance film is defined as a film that incorporates dance as a core narrative component. Recordings of live performance or class videos are not eligible.

Films must have been completed later than Jan 1, 2018.
Video duration: 1-10 minutes
You are able to submit up to three (3) videos as the director, choreographer, or cinematographer.

Video must be submitted by: Sep 5th, 2019

SUBMISSION FORMAT

Streaming link (Vimeo, YouTube) or uploaded to FilmFreeway as part of submission

Notification of acceptance or decline will be no later than Sep 15th, 2019 @ 5:00pm PST

If your film is selected, we may request film stills and/or production photos, along with photo credits, for use in promoting CONCEPT 2019.
