BBR Indie Films is Atlanta's premier bi-monthly movie screening and networking event, held at Studio Movie Grill in Marietta, GA. We showcase short films, web series, animations, and music videos on the big screen — and we put filmmakers directly in the room with the people who can move their careers forward.

Every event features Major Celebrity Guest Panelists from the film industry — casting directors, executive producers, and entertainment attorneys who've worked with names like Netflix and BET. You'll learn from the best, get real-time constructive feedback on your work, and build relationships with fellow independent filmmakers.

Please note: If your film isn't spoken in English, it must include English subtitles. Filmmakers selected must be able to attend the event.

What to Expect

Your film premieres in a real movie theater, on the big screen, in front of a live audience
A live panel discussion with casting directors, executive producers, entertainment attorneys, and other industry professionals
Direct feedback from people actively working in the industry
A walk down our Step & Repeat red carpet
Networking with other filmmakers and creatives

Filmmakers selected must be able to attend the event to represent their film — please don't submit if you can't be there in person.
One submission per filmmaker. We only review one submission — sending more than one results in automatic disqualification.

  • I had the privilege of screening my film, UnOrdinary Love, at the BBR Indie Film Festival, and the experience was extraordinary.
From the warm reception to the engaging Q&A, the festival truly champions independent voices. The curation showcases diverse and thought-provoking films that sparked meaningful discussions. Beyond my own screening, I was inspired by the exceptional storytelling on display.

The organization was seamless, with well-run screenings, insightful panels, and a vibrant networking atmosphere that fostered creative connections. As both a filmmaker and actress, I left feeling reinvigorated, reminded of why I tell stories. BBR Indie isn’t just a festival—it’s a celebration of bold storytelling and a must-attend for any indie filmmaker.
