AI FILM FESTIVAL is a short film festival that intends to promote and screen short films and also establish an international communication for short filmmakers and everybody involved in this industry. It tries to build up a bridge between Iranian and international short filmmakers. It intends to recognize and present top short films and introduces young talents. AI FILM FESTIVAL is a place to expand the experiences and enhance the knowledge and endorse the skills.

Jury members will select the best movies of each section and will announce the awards as below:
Best Film
Best Director
Best Script
Best Actor
Best Actress

Rules & Terms

AI Film Fest will be held on January, Tehran, Iran. There will be Cash prize for the best films only. International and Asian premiere is in priority; However, it is necessary that the first screening of the selected movies in IRAN will be at AI FILM FEST, otherwise, the films will be considered for the non-competition section.
Short films must not exceed 15 minutes including final sequence and NOT less than 5 minutes. It must be produced after January, 2019.

Short films include live action and animation. No documentary is eligible. Any short film in any genre that corresponds the rules of the festival is acceptable, however, the festival will not select any film with nudity, sexual scene, violence, religious disdain, etc. Here are the festival categories: Fiction, Animation, Woman Director and non-competition.

The submission form must be completed by the producer or international distributor of the film.
AI FILM FEST is a nonprofit organization, so there would be no screening fee for the selected films.
The eligible formats for previewing and selection purpose are downloadable links, DVDs or blue-Rays.
Once a film has been selected it cannot be withdrawn from the Festival program.
Accepted formats: Full HD File (plus a blue-Ray backup) with English subtitles.

The Festival Director will settle any case that might arise unexpectedly.
Participation in the Festival implies acceptance of all the aforementioned rules & regulations.
