I love writing. I love stories. I love the poetry of images and the feelings I get when a movie moves me. I bring a lot of lived experience to my screenwriting, from teaching college to television directing, from running businesses to rummaging through used book stores, from professional photography to publishing poetry, but mostly I just love movies. Always have. And I’ve always called the Pacific Northwest home, and always been searching for the highest mountains and the greenest valleys, always seeking the finer light (that’s what I tell myself). But truly, I’m amazed at the ineffable mystery of each person I meet. I come to you as a writer but, just like you, I’m so much more. And I write to discover who I am and also who you are.
