Mr. Stengel is an Artist, Activist, Writer, Filmmaker, Martial Artist, Photographer, Artist of Stage, Radio, Live Animation, TV & Film (on both sides of the camera) - President of Soxon Productions, member of SAG AFTRA, Native American Caucus, the Director/Founder of “The Hollywood Militia” improv/production group, The “New Media Revolution” production group and edgy sketch improv group “Generation Next”.
A proud recipient of President Obama's "Presidential Volunteer Service Award" for his nonprofit "Hoods to Woods" (exposing underprivileged kids to Theatre/Film Productions and to Nature on Hiking Adventures) He has appeared in dozens of film, television, stage, and radio projects, and has directed written, produced, cast, and coordinated talent and stunts in productions of various sizes.
He is also a world class Self Defense expert, having appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, CNN, the LA Times, and other local and worldwide media. An accomplished Mountaineer, SCUBA Diver, Cliff Diver, Sky Diver and World Adventure Traveler, backpacking over 40 countries and islands. Graduated “Magna Cum Laude” from Cal State University Northridge.
Mr. Stengel has shared the stage with a diverse group of artists, ranging from Rodney Dangerfield to Ozzy Osbourne, been to over 600 concerts, taken thousands of photographs and videos of exotic people, places and perspectives. He's stood before the US Supreme Court, been caught in a border war and stranded on a remote island... Of the three, Mr. Stengel prefers to be stranded.
