The Drop

Zara and Polly #werk in Toronto as "professional line-waiters" - hired by the rich and lazy to wait in line for exclusive products the day they DROP. A biting satire on modern-day consumerism, transactional friendships, and the expanding wealth gap. Every episode is a new line, and every line is a new adventure.

This comedy series is a love letter to Toronto where we spent our formative years hustling as emerging filmmakers. As creative and full of opportunity as Toronto is, it's a city that will never hug you back. But living here is why we connect with the characters in THE DROP so intimately. THE DROP is a diverse female-buddy comedy we're proud to add to the canon.
