I started writing when I was 15 years old, and by the time I turned 18, I was writing a feature length screenplay. Along with a group of friends, we shot a couple short films. I loved it. But responsibilities and life got in the way, and I stopped writing for a very long time. In 2014, at 39 years old, I decided that it was time to pick up my old hobby again. Once I started writing, it wasn't long before I got bit by the filmmaking bug. At 43 years old, I shot Talisman. It was the first project that I worked on that had a paid cast and crew. We will begin filming the rest of season 1 of the web series in June 2019.
Making Talisman was literally a dream come true for me. I was lucky enough to get to work with an amazing and talented cast and crew. Without any of them, this film may not have gotten made. As cool as it was to write a story and watch it come to life, it it will always be the friendships and relationships that came out of the experience that I will truly value. It was truly a pleasure, and I look forward to taking the story forward into a web series.
