The aim of SINEVIZYON International Film Festival, which takes place in Girne, in September every year, is to bring the world cinema together with the cinema lovers and to introduce the Turkish Cypriot cinema to the world.

Cyprus Turkish Cinema Television Society organized SİNEVİZYON International Film Festival every year. This year 6th edition of the film festival will be held in Northern Cyprus.

The Award Ceremony of the International Film Festival, where a total of 20 short films and documentaries will be selected, will be held in Girne - Cyprus.

6 Official Selections, 4 Semi-Finalists, 4 Finalists will be selected. Plaques will be presented to the top three director.

All announcements and results will be announced on the social media accounts and via National Press.

We would be delighted to see you among us at the International Film Festival.

Rules & Terms

You may submit multiple entries (with different films), but you must complete a separate entry form and pay the fee for each film.

You must own the rights to your film, the music included in it and have permission from everyone appearing in your film to show their work.

Non-English films will be accepted. All films must have English embedded subtitles. Movies without English subtitles will be Disqualified!!!

We do not accept X-Rated material/porn, extremist propaganda, music video, etc. This kind of films and documentaries will be Disqualified!!!

Films promoting the use of drugs, alcohol and smoking will be Disqualified!!!

Documentary, fiction short film, experimental short film, animation short film can submit.

We will award totally 6 films that we receive entries for. In total we will select 4 finalists, 4 semi-finalists and 6 official films. Only those selected films will be screening during the festival.

Please note that, by submitting your film you agree:

The festival may use parts of your film for promotional purposes.
These may include: trailer/scenes/poster/stills etc.
Entry fees are nonrefundable.
