The Santorini Film Festival brings a unique cinematic experience to Aegean's heart. With a rich programme of screenings and educational workshops, the annual summer event serves as an interactive platform for locals, travellers, film experts and cinephiles. Hosted every year at the scenic open-air Kamari Cinema, SFF aims to celebrate the island's cinematic heritage and highlight its natural beauties.
With a great number of sold-out editions, SIFF is already established as a summer event where cinema lovers, filmmakers and industry professionals meet on an annual date filled with cinema gems.
Our screening categories feature both short and feature films and documentaries and cover a wide range of genres.
Santorini Film Festival is organised by HFP, a pioneer organisation that runs Film Festivals and other events showcasing and championing ideas of diversity. Through our global series of film Festivals that spread over 13 countries, we open the path to voices with a compelling story to share. Our main mission is to honour independent cinema and establish a network of artists eager to join forces and spread their work across all nations. HFP runs 25 film Festivals worldwide.
A selection of films will be nominated for awards in different categories, and will receive official selection laurels. The winners of the awards will be announced at the festival and our website the following day.
Our judging panel consists of filmmakers, producers and other individuals who work in the film industry. We also offer writing critiques and reviews for your film.
