Red Flight Pictures LLC and Revolving Artist Films are two multi-award winning production company specializing in film and television. Both are a self-sufficient entity producing creative content in its most unadulterated form.

Each year, Both companies host a screenplay contest that awards writers the chance to have their screenplay produced by the award-winning teams. Each screenplay is reviewed by our judges and all selected screenplays are reviewed by industry professionals who will handpick the top prizes.

Once submitted, our team of judges will read each screenplay and provide notes. Together they will select about 20 films to be passed on to our Tier 2 judges. Those judges will select our award winners.

Best Screenplay - $450 Cash Prize and Awarded the opportunity to have their screenplay optioned and produced.

Best Action Screenplay - $250 Cash Prize

Best Drama Screenplay - $250 Cash Prize

Best Comedy Screenplay - $250 Cash Prize

Best Horror Screenplay - $250 Cash Prize

Best Student Screenplay (Short or Feature) -$100 Cash Prize

Best Action Short Screenplay - $150 Cash Prize

Best Drama Short Screenplay - $150 Cash Prize

Best Comedy Short Screenplay - $150 Cash Prize

Best Horror Short Screenplay - $150 Cash Prize

Rules & Terms

-All scripts must be submitted in English.

-Feature films must be between 45 and 145 pages in length. Short Films are any screenplay under 45 pages.

-All genres are accepted.

-All Entry fees must be paid in U.S. dollars.

-Entry fees are non-refundable.

-Judges who work for Red Flight Pictures LLC or Revolving Artists Films are not eligible to enter the competition, nor are their affiliates or immediate family members.

-Submissions must be the original work of the applicant.

-Entries may be adapted from the applicant’s own work or with the permission of another person work (novel, book, etc)

-We do not accept hardcopy submissions my mail.

-You may submit several screenplays but all must have their own submission and submission fee.

-Red Flight Pictures LLC reserves the right to make any necessary changes to deadlines, dates, rules, and scheduling.

-Decisions of the Judges are final and may not be disputed

-The top prize will be provided the opportunity to work with producers towards an option agreement.

-We do not offer script coverage or feedback

-A team of screenwriters and producers will read each screenplay. Selected screenplays will be on to our Tier 2 judging which will be read by our executive producers and financiers. Being selected does not guarantee a cash prize at this phase.
