INSCRIPTION
The films will be able to be presented until March 31 on FilmFreeway platform (these platforms may have a cost destined to the cash prizes). Non-final montages will be accepted, as long as the copy for exhibition purposes is available before May 30. If you do not have an online viewing copy, you must contact us to receive instructions. It must be detailed in the attached form: title of the work, director, duration, producer, address, telephone, email, and contact person.
In the case of Peruvian productions, registration is free and eventually they can also be registered by sending a private screener link along with the complete registration form.
Films in languages other than Spanish can be submitted but they must be subtitled in Spanish (preferably in a separate file) or we would exceptionally accept it if it includes a separate srt file in English (not inserted in the film). If the work is selected, the subtitles file in Spanish is mandatory.
FORMATS
The accepted formats for its exhibition are: MP4 FHD or 4K, ProRes, AVI and Blu Ray. The DCP format will only be accepted if it has audio or subtitles in Spanish. The festival will not return the discs used for exhibition unless a means of paid postal reply is included.
AWARDS
Jury Awards:
The Jury will award among all the Official Sections of the Festival certificates with a diploma issued by the organization.

A Favorite Prize of the public will also be awarded, based on the voting carried out via social networks and the internet. In case there are other cash prizes, we will inform you in a timely manner (Prizes from our sponsors).
JURY
The Jury for feature films will be made up of three people: a representative from the film industry, a cultural manager and an LGBT activist or a human rights NGO.
NOTIFICATION
The notification will be made - to those selected - on May 30, 2024 by email to the address indicated in the registration form. In this case, the person in charge of the selected work must provide the material in its final format for exhibition, if he had not previously sent it. It is understood that the exhibition will be in physical or face-to-face spaces. They will be informed in the selection notification. The selection will be considered accepted and authorized, after 7 calendar days, if the author does not express opposition in writing.
By registration and selection, the author of the work authorizes OutfestPerú to include it in traveling exhibitions of the festival in other cities of the Peruvian territory and if the work was related to HIV / AIDS it could be included in the HIVsible exhibition that we held in December. If you have any questions, you can write to us to confirm the status of your work.
PROMOTION
Excerpts (up to 4 minutes) can be made from the programmed titles for internet, tv or with other promotional purposes. The material provided by the director may be used for promotional purposes or for the festival catalog. OutfestPerú must be informed in writing of any restriction in this regard
RESPONSIBILITIES
OutfestPerú does not assume any responsibility in case of deterioration or loss of the materials during their transport. If any of the aforementioned circumstances take place during the celebration of the festival, the organization will limit itself to bearing the costs of repair or replacement of the copy. The festival is not responsible for possible infringements related to copyright, these being the responsibility of whoever registers the work.
THE SUBMISSION OF A FILM IN ANY OF THE FORMATS MENTIONED, SUPPLIES THE FULL ACCEPTANCE OF THE ABOVE OUTFESTPERU FESTIVAL RULES, AS WELL AS THE ORGANIZATION'S DECISIONS BEFORE THE OWN UNFORESEEN ACTIVITY.

INSCRIPCIÓN
Las películas podrán presentarse hasta el 31 de marzo en esta plataforma. Se aceptarán montajes no definitivos, siempre y cuando la copia a efectos de exhibición esté disponible antes del 30 de mayo. En caso de no disponer de copia de visionado online ha de contactar con nosotros para recibir instrucciones. Debe detallarse en el formulario adjunto: título de la obra, director(a), duración, productor, dirección, teléfono, email, y persona de contacto.
En el caso de las producciones peruanas la inscripción no tiene costo y eventualmente también se podrán inscribir enviando un enlace de screener privado junto con la ficha de inscripción completa.
Pueden inscribirse películas en idiomas distintos al castellano pero deben estar subtitulados al castellano (preferentemente en archivo aparte) o excepcionalmente lo aceptaríamos si incluye un archivo srt en ingles de forma aparte (no insertado en la película). Si la obra es seleccionada, el archivo de subtitulos en castellano es obligatoria. Tienen prioridad las obras que incluyen subtitulos o audio para personas con discapacidad.
FORMATOS
Los formatos aceptados para su exhibición son: MP4 FHD o 4K, ProRes, AVI y Blu Ray. El formato DCP sólo será aceptado si dispone de audio o subtítulos en castellano. El festival no devolverá los discos utilizados para exhibición a no ser que se incluya un medio de respuesta postal pagada.
PREMIOS
Premios del Jurado:
El Jurado otorgará entre todas las Secciones Oficiales del Festival certificados con un diploma emitido por la organización.

También se entregará un Premio Favorito del público, basado en la votación realizada via redes sociales e internet. Es caso hayan otros premios en metálico iremos informando oportunamente (Premios de nuestros patrocinadores).
JURADO
El Jurado para largometrajes estará compuesto por tres personas: un representante del gremio cinematográfico, un gestor cultural y un activista LGBT o de una ONG de derechos humanos.
NOTIFICACIÓN
La notificación se realizará –a los seleccionados- el 30 de mayo de 2024 por correo electrónico a la dirección indicada en la ficha de inscripción. En tal caso el responsable de la obra seleccionada deberá proporcionar el material en su formato definitivo para exhibición, si acaso no lo hubiera enviado previamente. Se da por entendido que la exhibición será en espacios físicos o presenciales. Se dará por aceptada y autorizada la selección, al cabo de 7 días calendario, si el autor no expresa oposición por escrito.
Por la inscripción y selección el autor de la obra autoriza al OutfestPerú su inclusión en muestras itinerantes del festival en otras ciudades del territorio peruano y si la obra tuviera relación con el vih/sida podría ser incluida en la muestra VIHsible que realizamos en diciembre. Si tuviera alguna duda puede escribirnos para confirmar el estado de tu obra.
PROMOCIÓN
De los títulos programados se podrán realizar extractos (hasta 4 minutos) para internet, tv o con otras intenciones promocionales. El material proporcionado por el director podrá ser empleado con fines promocionales o para el catálogo del festival. El OutfestPerú deberá ser informado por escrito de cualquier restricción en este sentido
RESPONSABILIDADES
OutfestPerú no asume ninguna responsabilidad en caso de deterioro o pérdida de los materiales durante su transporte. De tener lugar cualquiera de las mencionadas circunstancias durante la celebración del festival, la organización se limitará a cargar con los gastos de reparación o reposición de la copia. El festival no se hace responsable de posibles infracciones relacionadas a derechos de autor, siendo éstas responsabilidad de quien inscribe la obra.
LA PRESENTACIÓN DE UNA PELÍCULA EN CUALQUIERA DE LOS FORMATOS MENCIONADOS, SUPONE LA PLENA ACEPTACIÓN DE LAS REGLAS DEL FESTIVAL OUTFESTPERU ANTERIORMENTE EXPUESTAS, ASÍ COMO DE LAS DECISIONES DE LA ORGANIZACIÓN ANTE IMPREVISTOS PROPIOS DE ESTA ACTIVIDAD.
