MICHAEL GOLDBURG is an award-winning filmmaker and alum of NYU's Graduate Film Program. Michael's feature screenplay for his crime comedy, SURE-FIRE, is a top-ranked script on Coverfly and has placed in several other prestigious screenplay competitions, including ScreenCraft, Shore Scripts, and Beverly Hills. Michael's celebrated short version of SURE-FIRE has screened at numerous film festivals and won or was nominated for multiple awards, including Best Comedy, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actor. The short also caught the attention of Sony Pictures Classics and Bleecker Street who are both tracking the feature for distribution. Michael’s team for the SURE-FIRE feature includes advisor Joe Pirro, Head of Production at Symbolic Exchange ("The Assistant"), founded by James Schamus (former CEO of Focus Features). Joe feels Michael is part of the "next wave of emerging filmmakers to break through to wider audiences." Michael is also developing a feature adaptation of a darkly comic novel by the former book editor of "The Chicago Tribune” in Sundance Collab with Oscar-nominated screenwriter Naomi Foner. Michael's other acclaimed work includes his horror-comedy, WHAT'S EATING DAD?, which screened at numerous film festivals, won multiple awards, and streams on Amazon Prime as well as TRAGIC RELIEF, an award-winning web series by writers from The Onion and Comedy Central, featured on Funny or Die.
DAVE CHAN is an award-winning writer/producer who studied screenwriting at New York University and is founder of the independent production company, Navy Yard Films. His short comedy script "Fly!" is a winner of the Academy Award-qualifying Nashville Film Festival among others, and his "Family Guy: What The Phuc?!" spec script won or placed in 25 competitions including the prestigious Austin Film Festival as a Second Rounder. And his television pilot script "County of Kings" is a Finalist in the industry-sponsored Catalyst Content Festival.
STEVE WISNIEWSKI has had his scripts final or place over a dozen times in national screenwriting competitions, including AFI and Scriptapalooza, and has placed in the top 10% of the Nicholl Fellowships and the Austin Film Festival. Steve has also had several of his screenplays optioned by producers, including one which is currently in pre-production. He is also a playwright, with productions regionally and in New York, including the New York International Fringe Festival.
