Kristina Van Kirk Hoffman was born and raised in northern California. She attended UCLA and Columbia University, studying English, Political Science and earning a degree in Art History with a focus on modern and contemporary art. She directed contemporary art galleries in Los Angeles from 1983-1997. In 1998 she and her husband, moved to Marin County. In 2012 she and her husband moved to Sonoma. Kristina joined the board of the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art. In 2018, they then moved to Santa Monica where she attended Jeff Gordon’s Screenwriter’s Boot Camp. Now living in Indian Wells, CA since December 2019, Kristina has joined the Palm Springs Writers Guild as a board member with the intent to pursue a career in screenwriting.
